King has been showcasing evil for decades. In addition, look at him. He looks like a cadaver. You don’t get those looks from healthy thinking.

That's true. But Neil Gaiman plagiarized his novels, betrayed his legacy and called his fans who didn't accept it 'racist' though.

They’re both awfully bad. And deserve to be not read. I don’t want entertainers to be political. If they are pigeonholed then whatever they say doesn’t matter. But to actively promote evil? No. I won’t read their books.

Exactly. We shouldn't give our money to those Woke ghouls.

As a lifelong reader of any genre, I hadn’t heard of him so he can’t be as special as he thinks he is. Genius stands out and rarely gets awards in its time because no one understands it.

Well, he's pretty famous actually, maybe you don't like the genre he writes in?

I do agree that he isn't genius though. He's a plagiarist and doesn't have a talent.

You need to remove the author's views from their work, that's the only way one can enjoy art/literature/music without it being ruined by someone's political views. If you let someone's political views stop you from reading a book then you are no better than the Wokists who denounce anyone who has differing views. I personally love King's novels, along with some of Gaiman's, and don't understand his current views; his early work was centered around dystopian futures, criminal governments, and thought control(think our corporate overlords have blackmail hanging over his head, only thing that makes sense to me). If I were to renounce my love of King's early novels due to his views I would be no better than some gender studies major denouncing Rowling for her views on trannies.

The point is I never really liked King's novels, I consider him a mediocre writer who tends to be way too wordy.

Another problem is that his political views are creeping into his later novels.

With Gaiman, I used to like his novels but I consider his current Wokery a betrayal of his own fans. I mean, he allowed a Black woman to portray Death in his Sandman adaptation although in his comic strip she was a pale white Gothic girl, and he even claimed back then he saw Death just like that. So, he betrayed his own vision and his fans. I did not stop loving his Sandman comic strip and his old novels but I'm totally disappointed with the man himself.

Yeah, King is definitely wordy, think that’s the reason I like his short stories/novellas better than his novels(with the exception of Needful Things and the Dark Tower series). Gaiman has always been full of himself, won’t be surprised when they announce that he has completed his transition.

Lol. Laughed at Gaiman transition, thanks. The point is I don't understand where Gaiman arrogance stems from - he plagiarized many of his novels and never deserved a critical acclaim he received.
