Your 100% correct however the main problem is those on the left believe their the ones who are patriots saving democracy and anyone that disagrees with them are the enemy of the state. The point you make that they assassinate your character to dehumanize you as a person is their main tactic to silent their opposition. Unfortuntely they control over 90s of the platforms and outlets for information where they been successful promoting the Big Lie theory by telling lies over and over until the lies become the truth. There fear and disinformation campaign to deceive and distract the Average citizen from learning the truth by creating an alternative realty by creating new narratives where critical thinking is replaced by group think and the facts and the truth ignored.
