The Left Never were Anti-System, just Anti-Right
It is Easy to be Anti-System when Your Opponents are the System
Western Left had Betrayed their Ideals because they have NONE in Truth, Save Power-Hunger
I guess only completely lazy people in the West hadn't yet wondered why Western Left had gradually betrayed all their past ideals, and now turned into the exact opposites of their former selves. Which ideals for example? Well, let's count the main ones.
Western Left used to be notoriously against the system, now they are 100% pro system. They used to stand for the poor and for the working class, now they denigrate Western working class as 'sexist, racist and white supremacist', and lick billionaire boots instead by openly fawning upon rich elite. Moreover, Western Left used to be very anti-war, now they're chief warmongers (especially American Demon Rats), and it's the right who stand against the war. Why such a drastic change?
In order to understand it, we need to understand the reasons for Leftist previous moral stands. I claim that Western Left were anti system, anti war and pro working class NOT because they truly believed it, but PURELY for political, partisan reasons! What do I mean exactly?
Well, even twenty years ago the status quo in the West was leaning MUCH MORE towards the right than to the Left. Hence, the system was favoring the right more. That's why it was PRETTY EASY for the Western Left to stand 'against the system' - because the system meant their political opponents!
During last decade, however, a significant shift of Western society to the Left had occurred. Hence, the system all of a sudden began to favor the Left! More precisely, the Lefties themselves became the system, while their political opponents had turned into castaways of this system. Is there ANY wonder then that the Lefties now are SO vigorously pro system? If they themselves are the system now, why would they go against themselves indeed?
Same shit with other Leftist stands. The Left were so notoriously anti-war because it's their political opponents the right, who were waging wars mostly. That is, American Republicans were the chief force behind American invasions into the Middle East. That's why it was again PRETTY EASY for American Left - Demon Rats - to be 'anti-war'! In truth, they were just anti-Republican all along, not anti-war and not anti-system! Because yeah, when it's Demon Rats themselves who are now waging a deadly war in Ukraine and even committing war crimes there with cluster bombs, all Western Left suddenly turned into raging rabid warmongers. But it's clear why now, right?
Same shit with working class. The Left needed working class in order to get their votes - and working class provides majority of votes in the West! - because they were political losers in the society leaning more to the right. When this had changed and the Left became the dominant force in our society, they do NOT need working class votes any longer. Hence, they're ditching working class in a cold blood and show their true fascist and power-hungry face finally.
So you finally got it now I hope? Western Left NEVER had any standards, any ideals and any true beliefs. All this was just smoke and mirrors, sweet lies to get your votes and to shift the consensus in their favor. And when this consensus was shifted, the Western Left had abandoned all their past stands.
Only they didn't abandon shit in truth. They NEVER had any standards save their insatiable thirst for power. Again, Western Left NEVER were anti-system, anti-capitalism or anti-war - they were ALWAYS just anti-Republican (or anti-right, more broadly).
Agreed I have always had democratic friends who did not stand for what we are seeing. They also understood the dangers of communism. Now the narrative from so many on the left is anti- America. How does this address our issues and promote problem solving. My horror comes when I hear words and narrative from our US leadership that mirrors Fidel Castro. How do we have individuals in Congress that hate our ways but offer no better alternative. We Ilhan Omar than comes from Somalia a nation that can barely stand. The level of of hypocrisy can make you insane. Does anyone in Somalia have the standard of living, opportunity or freedom of speech she has in this country. Same with so many leaders from African nations at the UN criticizing democratic nations such as US and Israel while their people live in extreme poverty. I really believe we are living in upside world.
I am not enamored by any one politician that I will support repeating we did not see what we saw during the debate. A frozen candidate who could not put a sentence together. On Saturday some news outlets were attempting to tell us that we did not see an assassination attempt. We cannot be so blinded by any party that we refuse truth.
This has gone beyond political parties this is indoctrination at its best. The desperation to control thinking through absurd narratives dumbfounding.
Sub-stack writing gives me hope in particular the comments. We cannot be so stuck on an ideology that we force everything to fit int that box. Especially if the solutions are not evolving from that ideology.
I have seen no benefit in “Woke ideology” only the death of critical thinking.
Hence the saying, “The left thinks the right are bad people with ideas and the right thinks the left are people with bad ideas.” Most liberals cannot understand or do not have the critical thinking skills to understand the major difference in that phrase.
