New Fascism is Coming from the Left

People who Called Everyone They Disagreed With 'Fascists' are True Fascists Themselves

My three year old post, yet all my insights proved correct yet again.

Yeah, I'm 100% sure that the new totalitarianism is coming to the West from the Left side of political spectrum, not from the right. I have many solid reasons for that. The most important ones are political, legislative and ideological.

1) Ideological Reasons

The most important reason why fascism would come from the Left is ideological one. I maintain that right ringers are more prone to authoritarianism, while Left wingers - to totalitarianism. It follows from their respective ideologies directly. Most of the right wingers are conservatives so their aim is to preserve old values and old order most of all. Most of the Left wingers are 'progressives', and their main goal is to upend the old system and to bring change. Now, to establish a totally new system one needs a new ideology, and very powerful as such to be able to overcome the old one. Powerful ideology is a prerequisite for totalitarianism per se since totalitarian regimes are based on ideology in all cases. Authoritarian ones aren't that linked with ideology, in the contrary.

Why can't old ideology which conservatives try to preserve be used for totalitarian purposes as well? Simply because it isn't that strong compared to new ideologies, never. Old ideologies became somewhat like traditions, or rites. People abide by them because they used to, but not because they really believe them with all their hearts. New ideologies, in the contrary, usually capture people's mind completely, as every new thing. Or, if you like other explanation better - an old ideology is like your old wife whom you might still sincerely love, but not mad about it and won't be ready 'to murder all her potential suitors' in fit of jealousy as with a new wife when your feeling is too passionate and unstable. I hope people got the analogy. Anyway, the main point is that Left wingers want to upend the old system and bring along a new one, and they would inevitably need a powerful ideology in order to do that. Then this ideology enslaves them like a strong passion enslaves a young lover, and they are ready to spill blood for its sake (remember all the violent Left revolutions), and to get rid of everyone who disagrees with it.

But what's about Hitler and Nazi, they were right wingers, some people would object. Again. NOT INITIALLY. Nazi were National SOCIALISTS, and I'm still not really getting why the West remembers the first word but chose to forget the second. When they ascended to power, Nazi promised to their followers a socialist paradise which was only slightly colored with the shades of nationalism. Their initial agenda wasn't that different from typical Left wing agenda of that time - anti-capitalist, anti-business, pro-workers...And ofc, with all Marxist theoretical underpinnings. Only LATER, when Nazi needed support from biggest corporations in Germany, they changed their rhetoric to the right direction because you can hardly buy a loyalty of big businesses by being anti-business and anti-capitalist (though modern Woke Left in US somehow gained support of biggest American corporations with their radical Left ideology, because they hypocritically turn it only against small businesses but not against biggest corporations). Anyway, Nazi were Left wing initially. Their ideology was revolutionary in true Leftist sense as well. So, in my view, it's their Left wing aspect which made Nazi so radical, dangerous and totalitarian. Without Leftist revolutionary underpinnings, even their anti-Jewish sentiment might have resulted just in some freedom and human rights restrictions for Jews but not in Holocaust.

Again, right wingers and conservatives aren't usually interested in radical changes in society which any totalitarian ideology usually brings with them. In the contrary, they are interested to preserve the old values and system, not to bring about any change. They might become rigid and authoritarian, forcing people to abide by old rusty rules, but NEVER WOULD THEY BRING ANY TOTALITARIAN CHANGE ABOUT. No, totalitarianism is the hallmark of the Left with their radical and powerful ideologies, and inevitable eviction (or physical elimination) of all dissenters.

And if you look at history, most totalitarian regimes of the last century - Stalinist USSR, Maoist China and yeah Hitlerian Germany - were born out of Left wing new radical ideologies. Same as modern Wokeism.

2) Political reasons

Only those who hold more power are capable of pushing down on people any kinds of ideologies, especially radical totalitarian ones. To push totalitarian ideology down would require a solid dose of brainwashing (hence, total control over media and information is required), and a sheer force if propaganda wouldn't work. Now, who controls the biggest mainstream media outlets in the West, and social media as well? Big Tech who controls all social media and all Internet at large had long ago pledged their sympathies to the Left, and began active censorship of conservatives. With regard to mainstream media, yeah, in theory, there are some big conservative media sources like Fox News in US, The Daily Telegraph in UK, Sky News Australia. However, they are framed as 'fake news' by bigger Left affiliated media outlets, and by independent 'fact checkers' as well who usually side with the Left as well as I had shown before. So, even if right wing media sources do exist, they are framed as 'fake news' and don't have such massive effect on public opinion as Left wing media outlets. Big Tech social media by actively censoring and silencing all the conservative voices completes Left wing informational triumph in the West.

So, by controlling media and information exchange, the Left are capable of manipulating public opinion and downright brainwashing of the population. It's a perfect prerequisite for pushing totalitarian ideology down. Censorship of conservative voices, cancel culture and elimination of any disagreement is a sign of totalitarianism being pushed already.

3) Legislative reasons

To push down a certain legislation which would facilitate totalitarian ideology and silence political opponents is a sure way to establish fascist regime. If you look at US, most of the big cities (even in Republican governed states!) there are governed by Democrats, so it's easy for the Left governors and mayors (especially if states and even cities have a solid degree of autonomy in US) to push down any legislation they want. With Democratic triumph on last election (when Demon Rats gained White House and Senate and kept House of Representatives), it's easy for them to do it on federal level as well (Biden is already doing it with his dictatorial executive orders).

How exactly to do it? Well, first of all to push the totalitarian indoctrination - so-called Critical Race Theory, this is the main ideology behind new Woke totalitarianism - in schools and universities so to brainwash the young generation. To impose more state control on people overall - gun control and vaccine passport apartheid system (both are for 'your own safety' ofc, and both are actively pushed by Demon Rats). So, there are ways, and Demon Rats are actively using and abusing them.

So, overall there are ideological, political and legislative prerequisites of new totalitarian ideology coming into the West (and in US especially, and from US to everywhere else in the West) from the LEFT SIDE.
