I agree with all your points, Alex, except your focus on Hamas terrorists? Reasonable thinkers knew for decades that Hamas started and supported by Israel. The Gaza open prison,which is totally monitored, and manipulated by the IDF is the backdrop of 1- Gazans angers 2- IDF failure to stop or defend the attacks for 7 hours.
Having said that, the reasonable thinker can examine the damage done by the Hamas terrorist in one day, with the damage done by Israel for almost a year. Such examination will easily reveal that Israel barbaric terrorist actions dwarf the Hamas actions.
Except that Hamas terrorists deserve death, without question, and Israeli citizens don’t. As far as the IDF claim, about support, you can’t blame citizens who don’t know or support their intel agencies acting in nefarious ways for the behavior of said agency.
