Consistency isn't a Woke Forte

If the Woke didn't have a Double Standard, They wouldn't have Any

Western Woke Left lack any consistency in their political stand indeed. My three year old piece again.

The more I see the whole inconsistency of Woke political stands, the more astonished I am why many other people still fail to see it and keep buying it. So let's have a recap of main Leftist Inconsistencies in the West:

1) Immigration & Freedom of Movement vs Safety

Western Left had spent two last decades convincing people that open borders and unlimited immigration are such a great thing, and that all safety concerns due to, for example, Jihadism and immigrant based crime (despite tens thousands of innocent people killed in Europe during Jihadist attacks for last decade!) are not really a good enough reason to restrict immigration in any slightest way (not even to do basic background check on arriving immigrants). No, the Western Left were telling us, the immigration is a basic human right, not a privilege, and we have 'moral obligation' to help those people. Anyway, as the Left were telling us, free movement cannot be stopped in a global world even if we wanted it to. OK.

Now, at COVID times, it ALL OF A SUDDEN became possible to stop COMPLETELY ALL INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL FOR MORE THAN A YEAR (while before it was for some reason impossible to restrict humanitarian immigration even slightly). Moreover, all of a sudden, safety concerns which mattered nil with regard to Jihadism, started to matter A LOT, and, indeed, much more than our basic human rights and freedoms because of the virus with mortality rate of 1%. Great. Can ANYBODY EXPLAIN TO ME THIS PARADOX? So basically the same people who for twenty years were rooting for an absolute freedom of movement, and our 'obligation to respect human rights of refugees and asylum seekers', now are the ones who spit the most on human rights of all the world population, and on freedom of movement as well. People who didn't want to keep certain groups of immigrants at bay, now are perfectly ok with keeping the whole world at bay. It's just a stunning hypocrisy. The worst part of it is that they themselves don't even realize this huge inconsistency.

2) Anti-State and Anti-Establishment Position

The Western Left like to brag about how much they are against hierarchy, 'state sanctioned violence', and any authority and establishment indeed to the point that they openly support such initiatives as 'Defund the Police', and also violent radical groups both inside the West (BLM and Antifa in US) and outside of it (Islamic terrorist groups like Hamas and Hezbollah) - whom Western Left see not as violent terrorists who they really are, but as 'guerilla fighters for freedom against oppression'. Again, I disagree with this stance strongly but I might have at least respected it if the Left were consistent about it. But alas, they are not.

For some reason, 'anti-state guerilla fight' is praised by the Left only when it directed at their political opponents - Republicans and Trump. When their own candidate is in the White House, any violence against the state is all of a sudden a 'dire attack on our democracy'. How convenient.

With regard to COVID lockdowns, their 'anti-state' and 'anti-establishment' position shatters to million little pieces overall. Because yeah, it's the Western Left who are the proponents of strictest lockdowns and total state control over people's movements and freedoms. It's the Western Left who are only too glad to obey all kind of rules and state imposed restrictions (such REBELS as they claim themselves to be!), and even to derive pleasure from it because of the feeling of MORAL SUPERIORITY over those who don't want to obey. Also, it's 'anti-establishment' Western Left who blindly believed every word of the official establishment (including false words like about 'natural origins' of COVID), and castigated those who doubted the official COVID narrative as 'wild conspiracy theorists'. If anything, Western Left were the most pro-establishment and pro-state control with regard to COVID.

But not only with regard to COVID. Take American Democrats' stance on guns. Guns are evil, according to them, and strictest possible gun control should be imposed on American population according to the Left, 'for safety sake', 'to prevent violence and shooting'. I'd like to remind you that those same people didn't give a slightest shit about ongoing BLM and Antifa violence, burning, looting and shooting for the whole last summer. These same people want to defund the police as well - who will protect American people then according to them, if guns are taken away from people and police is defunded? Those people have no logic and no consistency whatsoever. Their narrative has more contradictions than any wildest conspiracy, and they don't even care.

3) Anti-Capitalist Stance

All Western Left are essentially 'anti capitalist', because why, 'evil rich people exploit poor workers', and we need to stand by them. Again, even if I disagree with this, I wouldn't have minded this stand if it was honest and consistent. But again, as it's a usual case with the Western Left, it's not.

Western Left are drastically anti-capitalist only when it comes to small businesses. Then yeah, they don't mind looting of small shops and burning of private properties overall by 'guerilla fighters for freedom'. When it comes to rich elites and biggest corporations (who are actually really true evil of capitalism), however, then Western Left are as pro-capitalist as it can get. They are completely OK with Big Tech censorship and unlimited power, they don't mind Big Pharma making billions of dollars on COVID vaccines and refusing to give up their patents so poor countries could access the vaccine, they are cheering other biggest corporations as Disney or Coca-Cola taking 'Left political stands'. Come on, the mere existence of Coca-Cola, Big Tech and Big Pharma with all their money is an insult to any true Leftist who really cares of workers and their rights, and of income and financial equality. But, alas, not to Western hypocritical snowflakes of the Left. The modern Western Left are so pathetic and disgusting that they would have repelled even the Left wing activists of the past who fought for workers' rights and who had at least some ideals and some consistency in their views, unlike modern brainwashed idiots.

4) Climate Stance

Western Leftist climate stand is also full of hypocrisy and bullshit. They go that far in feigning concern over climate change that they are ready literally to deprive their fellow citizens of all meat and cars, tax them greatly for 'climate sake', and make them live in cold apartments during harsh winters (because right, central heating 'pollutes environment'). However, those same people don't want to restrict in any ways the activities of biggest corporations who pollute the environment billion times more than individuals, and to reduce their own consumerism so not to give those corporations money. Nope, they will buy the most expensive gadgets along with shitload of clothes and food - much more than they need - and will use technology to the full extent. These same people don't give a shit about such countries as China who is the biggest polluter of the environment (over one third of carbon emissions come from China). Why again, because so many Western productions are located in China, and people who are not willing to give up their mass consumerism (another true evil of capitalism), would prefer to ignore it. But they would do their everything to deprive you from meat and car to ease their conscience, right.

By the way, mass immigration contributes to climate change greatly as well, and for some reason it never bothered the Left. I mean, overpopulation is one of the main reasons for climate change - there are just too many people on our planet. Mass immigration exacerbates the overpopulation. Developing nations breed excessively, then send the excess of people whom they can't feed to the West (who accept ALL without any limits), and keep breeding. If we stop mass immigration, we might prevent developing nations from excessive breeding, and, hence, we'd fight overpopulation and climate change. What Western Left are doing with this regard is an exact opposite. I'm not sure do they idiots even see this connection between immigration, overpopulation and climate change, and even if they'd see it, would they care? Probably not, because it would contradict their most sacred 'globalism and open borders' narrative, and they'd frame it as 'right wing conspiracy' as well. But please don't tell me that Western Left care of the climate. They don't. They just ease their conscience and bathe in the feeling of moral superiority by telling people that they should stop drive cars and eat meat. Sigh.

I could list many more glaring contradictions, inconsistencies and hypocrisy of Western Left but enough is said. Overall the Western Left, based on all my analysis, are extremely gullible, naive and short-sighted, but at the same time arrogant and manipulative. They care of their precious reputation of 'good guys' much more than of real action, and they selfishly and arrogantly adore the feeling of moral superiority over other people who supposedly don't care of COVID pandemic or climate change (in truth, they do, but just propose different from Lefties solutions to it).

They have a lot of energy but waste it on all the wrong causes. They might genuinely want to make the world a better place (some of them at least) but they lack basic logic and common sense to know how to do it. Hence, they usually fall to most radical and least effective measures. Overall, Western Left create a terrible mess out our world, and in my opinion, it would really do with a proper RIGHT cleaning:)
