The only consistency we can expect from them is more tyranny that gives them more control, power, and wealth. Trump, and his populism stand diametrically opposed to what they want and are doing, which is why they are persecuting him the way they are.
Quite honestly I am surprised no one has taken a pot shot at him yet. If he continues to prevail sadly it might come to that which would be disastrous and could spark an uprising.
One of the things I have come to realize since graduation from college decades ago is that if one takes any system of thought, it can be viewed as completely consistent by its advocates and completely inconsistent from an opposing or different angle. The “woke” may seem to be rife with inconsistencies in their thinking for reasons cited in this argument, but they undoubtedly perceive no inconsistency from their vantage point.
I think that they cling to the fantasy that “the enemy of my enemy is my friend.” People are often blind to the real world contradictions in their thinking due to ideological dogmatism.
