Wokeism is a Self-Immolation of the Western Civilization

How and why the West had Begotten an Ungrateful Woke Child

I am fighting Western identity Marxism, or Wokeism how it came to be widely known, for quite a while, and I was always struck by countless contradictions and glaring inconsistency of this ideology. However, one recent episode helped to understand this toxic ideology better, and I perceived that in truth there is no any inconsistency at its deep level, and everything serves just one ultimate goal. 

This realization happened recently when one person here on Substack (hope this person is reading this my post too and recognizes himself!) was commenting under one of my posts exposing extreme stupidity and hypocrisy of the Woke pro Pally crowd, all those 'queers for Palestine' you know. What this person said was that there's no contradiction - the Woke just hate everything Western (no matter how good it is!) and cheer for everything anti Western (no matter how bad it is!). And then it clicked in my head - here it is! ~ Eureka! As simple as that. The main Woke paradox is finally solved. I'm still grateful to the person who helped me to solve it, and I hope again this person reads this my post and comments on it. 

Indeed, once we know that the essence of all the Woke ideology is self-immolating hatred to the West and everything Western (Western people, culture, religion, the whole Western civilization even!), all the Woke contradictions resolve themselves. That is, it becomes crystal clear while Woke 'queer feminists' cheer for homophobic and sexist Iran, Palestine and Islamic societies at large - because they're anti-Western, and in fact Iran is an open Western enemy. It becomes clear why Woketards who use word 'fascist' to denounce everyone they disagree with hate the only Jewish state in the world and cheer for its genocidal enemy - HAMAS terrorists. It becomes clear why Woketards don't wanna fight illegal immigration or violent crime - because both bring chaos and destruction to Western civilization to the Woke utter delight. Again, ALL the woke glaring contradictions are explained once you know the main Woke goal - immolation of the Western civilization. 

I personally would add to the Woke anti-Western hatred an anti-white hatred as well. Since the Woke are race Marxists, they're essentially racist, and simply cannot judge people by the content of their character as MLK advised - but the Woke judge people by the color of their skin first of all. Thus, anti-white hatred is deeply merged with anti-Western hatred in the Woke mind, and maybe the former is even the root cause of the latter. Either way, the Woke use words 'white' and 'Western' interchangeably, and, hence, Western civilization and culture are 'white' civilization and culture for them. That actually might explain Woke glaring Antisemitism as well - since Jews often look white and, displaced by Arab colonialists from Israel back in 7th century, were part of the Western civilization and culture for a while. Hence, Jews are also 'white' for the Woketards (never mind Holocaust), and Jewish culture is 'white' too (never mind Jewish faith, Judaism, as well). Woke glaring hatred for the white race might explain even Woke stands on abortion, illegal immigration and trans sterilization - EVERYTHING which facilitates the extinction of the white race (abortion, trans sterilization, etc.) and its replacement with 'purer' (oh, sorry, 'marginalized') races is good for Woketards. See now all the horror of this toxic ideology? 

Because yeah, the final goal of the Woke ideology is total destruction of the 'white' Western civilization and extinction of the white race. Of course, they're not saying it openly but all their actions and policies unambiguously point out to that. Everything in Woke agenda serves this sick genocidal goal. It's not enough for the Woketards to destroy our present and future, they want to erase our past as well, that's why they're rewriting our history as new 'historical' movies with Black European kings and queens or new Google AI Gemini suggest. So, not only Woketards will destroy all Western culture and genocide the white race, they will make it look as if WHITE PEOPLE NEVER EXISTED to  begin with! They will completely wipe us out of existence - out of both present, future and the past. That's truly horrible, is it not? I recall White Replacement Theory was widely mocked in our society but now it doesn't look so funny anymore, or does it? 

What makes Woke glaring anti-Western and anti-white hatred much worse is that most of the Woketards are themselves white and indeed are products of Western civilization and culture. In fact, other cultures so beloved by Western Woketards (like Islamic one) would gladly murder Woke people because they wouldn't stand their agenda. But the West had begotten this sick Woke child (pity it was not aborted sigh), and STILL tolerates it no matter how ungrateful Woke child became and how much it turned against its Western parent. 

Thus, Woke hatred for everything Western and white is essentially self-hatred, and woke immolation of the Western civilization is essentially a self-immolation. Wokeism is a truly suicidal cult. 

But how did it come to be? How did Western civilization turn to such burning self-hatred? How and why ungrateful Woke child was begotten? Direct culprits are so-called 'Critical theories' (Critical Race theory being the most famous of them) which view Western civilization, culture and history via 'critical lenses', and explore the negative impacts (both real and imaginary) of the Western civilization and culture on the rest of the world. Those 'Critical theories' became widely popular in the Western academy, merged with identity Marxism and gave birth to their ugly child - modern Wokeism. 

But why those 'Critical theories' became so popular in the West to begin with? Why not other theories? I guess it's because time was appropriate for those theories to flourish, for two main reasons. The first reason is that those theories were a direct consequence of grand Western guilt over colonialism, Black slavery, Holocaust, world wars...After those darkest events, some self-reflection was warranted, and initially Critical theories even had some rationale behind them but rapidly degenerated into Western self-immolation induced by collective guilt. The second reason was that in the end of 20th century, Western people were finally able to breathe freely after dark and tragic events of the first half of the century. Hence, they got also a lot of time for thinking and self-reflection, and, as usual for people in such situations, they were overthinking. This is happens when you have too much time for thinking. Perhaps if some other existential challenge came, it would have woken Western people up from their reflection slumber. But since it didn't, Critical Theories flourished and transformed from self-reflection and self-awareness into self-hatred and self-immolation. Truly tragic transformation. 

That's why I believe that in order to defeat Wokeism for good it's not enough to reverse Woke policies and to ban identity Marxism with its Critical theories. Nope, the Woke mind virus fed by Western collective guilt would just retreat into the shadows to rise again in the future. The only sure way to defeat Wokeism is to defeat Western collective guilt which feeds the Woke beast. Western people need to forgive themselves for what they (or their ancestors to be more fair) had done, and stop blaming themselves for what they haven't done. 

No one is perfect, and, despite colonialism, Holocaust, Black slavery, world wars, etc., it's not white people who invented wars and slavery, you know. It's not that all the other races and cultures were just perfect and only white people brought misery and destruction to them like all the Woketards believe. There were wars and slavery in Africa long before white people came there. There is STILL implicit slavery in the Islamic world. Speaking of which, Islamic world now is objectively FAR WORSE than Western world with their child marriage, female genital mutilation, executions of gay people and 'blasphemers', by the way. 

White people perhaps were able to do relatively more harm due to their technological capacities and advancement of their civilization. But that does not mean that white people were evil while other races and cultures were innocent. Moreover, I'm pretty sure that if say Jihadist Muslims got hold of nuclear weapons, they would have exploded the whole Earth already while 'evil white people' managed to use nuclear weapons ONLY ONCE. 

The Woke are making typical mistake there - they conflate power with evil ('oppression') while weakness - with victimhood ('oppressed'). they make the same mistake with Israel and Palestine or Russia and Ukraine by the way. But again, weak doesn't make right, and strong doesn't make wrong. Being more powerful doesn't necessarily mean being an oppressor, while being weak - an 'oppressed'. In fact, weak people or groups could easily manipulate strong ones into submission (HAMAS terrorists or trans radicals are perfect examples of such manipulation). 

But I'm digressing a bit. My main point is that white people and Western civilization aren't really the Devil while rest of the world aren't sacrificial lambs on the 'white altars'. everyone has their own faults and their own advantages, and to exaggerate one's faults while ignoring all the upsides is both wrong and harmful, especially when done to oneself.
