Western Double Standard to Russia and Germany

Nothing is Forgiven to Russia, Everything is Forgiven to Germany

It's actually so interesting that in the West Russia is blamed for everything and perceived exclusively as an 'enemy' and 'aggressor' all the way back from WWII, despite Russia actually played a crucial role in defeating Nazis back then. If you listen to the modern Woke West, however, you might think that it's Russia (or USSR) who started WWII and perpetuated Holocaust, really, not Germany. Speaking of Germany, actually, have you EVER heard Germany being blamed for ANYTHING in the West?

Nope, Germany is good, Germany is perfect. Despite the fact that Germany had initiated BOTH world wars, bathing the whole world in blood TWICE, perpetuated the worst ethnic cleansing named Holocaust, and inflicted pain and suffer on millions of innocent people. Yet Germany is never blamed for that. When it comes to Holocaust and WWII, just abstract Nazis and one particular person - Hitler - are to blame for everything. The word Germany isn't even mentioned. As if Germany wasn't guilty. As if it was Hitler himself ALONE who burned Jews, gays, Poles and Russians in gas ovens and not multiple German officers. So everything is forgiven to Germany it seems.

By sharp contrast, nothing is forgiven to Russia in the West. Russia is blamed for everything - for occupation of Baltic states after WWII, for an attempt to occupy Finland, for invasion of Hungary, for a Molotov-Ribbentrop pact with Hitler before WWII..Similarly as now - US are forgiven for their multiple bombings of the Middle East and even Serbia, Russia isn't forgiven for peaceful annexation of Crimea and current Ukrainian war.

I'm not justifying an actual shit USSR and modern Russia are doing. But it's not only Russia who is doing shit. And Russia was doing good things too. In WWII, Russia was still largely a victim of German aggression, and it suffered more than any other country (20 millions of Russians were killed by Nazis!). Also Russia played a key role in defeating Hitler. Yet, the West had chosen to forget it all but to remember ONLY Russian occupation of Baltic states, and attempts to occupy Finland and Poland instead. Why such a selective memory?

With regard to Germany, in the contrary, the West had chosen to forget all the atrocities perpetuated by Germany and Germans. These atrocities are blamed on abstract Nazis unrelated to any country apparently, and on a single person - Hitler. Germany isn't even mentioned with regard to Holocaust. Germany isn't called a country-aggressor. Germany isn't feared though now it should be feared more than ever - it regained all its power and is a leading European country again. Moreover, Germany criminalized free speech, banned an opposition party (AfD), gave a highest office of a Foreign Minister to a proven Nazi offspring Annalena Baerbock (granddaughter of Wehrmacht officer and Hitler’s personal friend Waldemar Baerbock), and rapidly militarizes up to a point of stationing its troops outside of its land (which Germany was forbidden to do forever after its war crimes in WWII) on Baltic satellite states territory.

Yet despite all German monstrous fascist past and its current disturbing and scary resurgence, it's always Russia who is the main problem for the West for some mysterious reason. Not Germany, not Islamic egregious Shariah dictatorships, not Communist China - but it’s always Russia who is a ‘main threat’! As a Russian I'm so fucking tired and so sick of this Western immense double standard and hypocrisy to be honest.

Indeed, based on Western attitudes towards Germany and Russia, one might think that it’s actually Russia who started WWII and perpetrated Holocaust and Germany was its main victim, and not other way around. It’s almost surreal. It is surreal to see how former Nazis (who now had restored all their Nazi glory to the fullest as I had shown) are hailed as ‘main defenders of democracy’ while those who saved the world from Nazi evil are treated as ‘main threat to democracy’. It is truly surreal.

I sincerely hope Germany would fuck all Europe up once more while Europe is being hysterically scared of Russia. Would suit Europe right. Europeans never learn on history it seems so will stumble upon same rakes over and over again until they'd finally learn their lessons the hard way.
