Neil Gaiman's Problem - Wokeism, Plagiarism and Sexual Perversion

'Male Feminists' Turn to be Sexual Predators Way Too Often

All the literary world now discusses recent dark revelations on sexual life of famous ‘dark fantasy’ author Neil Gaiman, a ‘male feminist’ and a Leftist darling. I, however, claim that Neil Gaiman’s case is far from being exceptional. In the contrary, Neil Gaiman is a typical example of a ‘progressive sexual predator’ (like Canadian Justin Trudeau and even Harvey Weinstein for that matter who also was a Leftist darling before dark truth on him was revealed and sparkled such an outrage that it gave birth to controversial #MeToo movement), and as such, Neil Gaiman could be used as a case in point.

Before proceeding to my main analysis, it might make sense to briefly tell who Neil Gaiman is and what exactly he is accused of, since many my readers might not know. So, Neil Gaiman as I had already said is a famous fiction writer who came to prominence back in 90s as an author of series of graphic novels The Sandman where Gaiman craftily blends together myths and legends of different cultures and creates his own mythos, a family of Endless, godlike creatures like Dream, Death, Destiny, etc. (it was a brilliant idea of Gaiman’s that all their names start from D by the way).

Later Gaiman had written few novels (some of them were considered novels for children like Coraline or The Graveyard Book which now looks a bit disturbing considering recent sexual allegations against Gaiman), some of which were adapted to screen (like Stardust or American Gods most notably), and few short stories collections. Yeah, back in 90s Gaiman collaborated with a famous British author Terry Pratchett to write Good Omens which was also adapted to screen (what good old Terry would have said about Gaiman sex scandal I wonder).

What is remarkable about Gaiman is that he adopted very progressive Leftist and feminist views long before it became mainstream, and he wasn’t shy to state his views in his writing (for example, his The Sandman contains lesbian and even trans characters, and this was back in 90s!). To give Gaiman credit, back then it was indeed a very brave and courageous thing to do. Later, Gaiman had rewritten famous fairy-tales Sleeping Beauty and Snow White from the point of view of the Evil Queen (The Sleeper and the Spindle), and had done it in a smart, non Woke fashion by the way. All of that gave Gaiman a reputation not just of an imaginative author but of a progressive thinker and male feminist, and he became very popular in for example nerd circles and overall.

However, it was not all that sweet and beautiful even with his writing. For example, some cases of plagiarism had emerged - for example, Gaiman modeled his most famous The Sandman on another author, Tanith Lee, series Tales from The Flat Earth, but he never acknowledged that. As an avid reader, I myself discovered how he plagiarized his other novels too (for example, his Coraline heavily borrows from Clive Barker’s Thief of Always, and Gaiman never acknowledged that either). Again, for an author who according to his own words had read a lot in his childhood and adolescence, it was pretty easy to plagiarize from not that well-known authors and novels because no one simply would notice - and no one did!)

What was more disturbing, there was a lot of sexual stuff going on in Gaiman’ novels and short stories. Again, I don’t mind straight, gay and lesbian sex, but Gaiman went much further than that, incorporating even bestiality and necrophilia! For example, Gaiman had written a short story The Problem of Susan based on the famous The Chronicles of Narnia, where The White Witch is having sex with lion Aslan (who just in case symbolizes Jesus in Narnia!) Gaiman had written it in all the juicy detail as well. That was very disturbing and plainly disgusting, and a deliberate insult to Christianity too I take it. C.S. Lewis would certainly not have appreciated this being done to his novels. In Gaiman’s another adaptation of Snow White (Snow, Glass, Apples), necrophiliac prince fucks a dead Snow White in a crystal coffin. Quite literally, again. Make whatever you like of that.

I used to like Neil Gaiman initially but after reading those disturbing short stories and learning of his plagiarism, I ceased to like him altogether. Would a talented author plagiarize, and more than once? Not really. Also, would a decent author write of bestiality and necrophilia? Nope, Neil Gaiman’s sexual perversion was on full display in his writing all along.

Now we’re finally coming to his sexual perversion. Were the allegations against Gaiman really serious? Judge for yourselves. Long New York Magazine article tells of such ‘sweet’ details as Neil Gaiman facefucking his nanny in his own home with his kids in the next room (!!), and forcing this nanny to eat vomit from his lap. Another article says that at least one of the women whom Gaiman, a married family man with three kids by the way, had fucked in such an ugly way, claims that this was non-consensual, contrary to Gaiman’s own words.

Now, I will not be trying to discern was Gaiman lying about consensual sex or not (though such a man could easily lie!), I’d merely say that his behavior was highly disturbing and reprehensible either way, even if it was consensual! Judge for yourselves - a married family man with three kids facefucks the nanny of his kid and a friend of his wife just one room away from where his kid was currently staying! That is highly disturbing and abominable, to say the least. Gaiman’s wife Amanda Palmer was complicit, by the way, offering her friend for her middle-aged husband to fuck. Another Ghislaine Maxwell, no less.

To force another person to eat vomit from his lap was even more disgusting. Again, I’m not a prude. As a gay guy, I enjoy swallowing male semen sometimes but let us not compare a healthy protein from which babies are born with vomit. Swallowing vomit might have still been Gaiman’s own business if he had done it himself, but to force another person to do so was highly problematic. Now, Gaiman claims he didn’t force her but the woman says otherwise. And, even if we’d believe Gaiman’s claims for the sake of an argument, how sick he must be to enjoy seeing another person licking his vomit from his lap? Beyond sick. It’s not just harmless sexual fantasies, it’s sexual abuse.

Now, I would perhaps understood this type of sexual behavior at least somewhat from a young, hypersexual unmarried guy. Still too much but at this age those things happen. But a middle-aged, already old even, married family man with three kids, facefucking the nanny of his kids in the room next door from his kids, seriously? This shit simply cannot be justified!

Neil Gaiman must fall from grace for good. This overindulged sexual pervert and notorious plagiarist had enjoyed his undeserved fame for way too long, and abused innocent women for way too long as well. This shit must end. Not only Gaiman’s career must end, he himself must be brought to justice, investigated and prosecuted just like his predecessor Harvey Weinstein.

Now let’s finally drop Gaiman and speak of his pervert pals like Weinstein. As I said, I argue that there is a pattern among so-called progressive male feminists most of whom turn out to be sexual predators and abusers. I’m sure that if we investigated further we’d find some juicy muck on Gaiman’s Woke pal Stephen King as well, for example. His writing is also pretty disturbing with sexual regard he looks creepy and adopted ultra Woke views as well.

If you think of it, it’s no wonder male sexual predators hide behind Woke and feminist frames now. I mean, what else would they do in a feminist word where even an innocent male compliment to a woman and even more so a stare could be interpreted as sexual harassment? Actually, as a gay guy I feel a bit of vindictive gloating over this straight me predicament - I mean, in a recent past gay guys might have been beaten to death for daring to even glance at a hot straight guy in an ‘inappropriate way’! So perhaps now when straight guys themselves face this toxic attitude from feminists, they would become more understandable towards gay guys and more considerate in their attitude towards them, or I hope so at least.

But I digressed. My point is that in a world where any innocent male glance or compliment could be implemented as sexual harassment, the pretty much only way for male sexual predators to get away with their shit is to attach themselves to progressive and feminist movements and to openly espouse all feminist views, thus hoping that no one would suspect such notorious ‘women rights champions’ of sexual abuse.

Sadly, this strategy works very successfully in our twisted Woke society. The primary suspects of sexual abuse and harassment are such rough guys like Trump with his unfortunate and yeah indecent ‘pussy grabbing’ comments, not such ‘progressive feminists’, ‘talented authors’ and ‘refined intellectuals’ like Stephen King and Neil Gaiman. But Trump is a harmless angel with this regard in truth compared to sick sadist and pervert Neil Gaiman.

Again, it’s no wonder. A best disguise for a sexual predator is feminism and progressivism. Same as a best disguise for an actual racist is DEI ‘anti-racism’. So when exactly would people cease to be such simpletons and see through this disguise? When would they cease assuming that espousing feminist views doesn’t really make a man incapable of sexual abuse and harassment? When, if ever? Sigh.

P.S. This essay turned out a bit long but I felt Neil Gaiman’s issue personally because initially this pervert and plagiarist fooled even me with his writing because initially I had liked him, again. Later I realized that in truth in his novels I liked not really Gaiman guy himself but the glimpse of the talented authors he plagiarized from (just like we see a reflected sunlight in a moonlight!), and it’s nothing to be ashamed of. And when I had read his disturbing less famous short stories, not just famous novels, I ceased to like him.

But still, I consider myself being tricked and betrayed by Gaiman so wanted to expose and condemn him both as a plagiarist, Woketard and a sexual pervert and predator. Yeah, it might sound funny for some conservatives when an openly gay guy like me accuses other men of being perverts but alas I do not believe that my natural sexual attraction to men instead of women is really a perversion while forcing the nanny of your kids to eat your vomit from your lap in your home just one door away from your kids certainly IS a perversion, and pretty disgusting and disturbing one as such.

P.P.S. Here’s the last bit just to give you a glimpse of how popular and indeed sacred Neil Gaiman figure was in literary world and nerd community. Make no mistake - a recently disgraced ‘dark fantasy’ author Neil Gaiman was not just a Woke darling, he was a true hero of these people and of the whole nerd community. I remember that when I was visiting fantasy and sci-fi conventions back in 2017-2019 (for example, Worldcon which back in 2017 was held in Helsinki, Finland, where I lived back then, so was pretty handy for me), Neil Gaiman figure was truly sacred here - everyone knew him and everyone loved him.

When I very reservedly suggested to my peers that maybe Neil Gaiman is a bit overrated, I was fiercely attacked in response and was told that ‘at least he is a better writer than you’ (yeah, I used to write speculative fiction too before I turned to politics and journalism for good, and yeah to compare a new aspiring author with an established successful one was low and dumb). This again came from people who didn’t hesitate to deride and scorn much better than Gaiman classic fantasy and horror authors like Tolkien or Lovecraft as ‘racist’ and ‘sexist’. What’s about them being much better authors than thou in this case? Apparently, it works only with the authors the Woke audience loves, and Woke glaring hypocrisy is on full display yet again.

But here lies a deeper problem. Why to make heroes and sacred cows out of authors and other celebrities at all, why isn’t it enough for their audience just to enjoy their art, why do they need to bring politics even here and to make heroes out of them? I never understood that.
