Everything Has a (Woke) Agenda Now
No Escape from It - It Pervades All Areas of Our Lives
I just realized that in our increasingly politicized Woke society it's next to impossible to talk just about life and hobbies without certain political agendas (mostly Woke ones but not only, just ANY trendy political issues and agendas) constantly popping up and disrupting the topic, and I do find it increasingly problematic.
Funny enough, usually it is NOT me who brings those agendas up despite my interest in politics and my political blogging. But exactly because of that - because I'm doing politics more often than regular people - I also know when exactly I want to have a little break from politics (even if just not to go mad because of all the insane shit happening in our world during last four years) and to talk just life, you know? To talk of the beauty of the nature. Of the tasty food. Of the handsome guys. Just simple, human things like that. But the problem is that it is NEXT TO IMPOSSIBLE to do so in our society any longer. Political agenda ALWAYS pops up.
Examples? Countless. You like meat? How DARE you, you destroy our planet! You love to eat at Burger King? How DARE you, Putin's spy, they STILL work in Russia! You like to date masculine and muscular men? How sexist of you, what's wrong with feminine and skinny guys? You wait for Xmas with anticipation? How DARE you, it's the 'most oppressive white Christian holiday', you should better celebrate some Black people's holidays instead? What, you also did? Well, that was pretty racist of you, that was a 'cultural appropriation', no one gave you a right to! What, I just said you should do it? No way I could have said it, you racist bigot!
All those examples might look absurd put up like that but the truth is most of them I took from REAL LIFE. It is not the product of my imagination. I only combined all those occasions together to increase the impression. Most of those examples are Woke ones because Woke ideology permeates our society the most but in truth it is ANY trendy political agenda (like Ukrainian one which is NOT Woke per se but has a Woke flavor due to its massive widespread and extreme 'trendiness' exactly). And it is impossible to get away from it, and THAT IS THE PROBLEM.
Again, it is NOT healthy when EVERYTHING becomes political. It is NOT healthy when there are almost NO safe topics left which you discuss freely without risking to 'offend' anyone, to provoke a political argument, etc. This is actually a mark of totalitarian, NOT democratic societies - when certain agendas and ideology permeates ALL our lives, literally EVERYTHING. When we are unable to discuss even the beauty of the flowers without taking a political stand, it is the sure sign of totalitarianism.
Who are to blame for this shit? Well, mostly Woke Marxist academia which infected all our young generation with its sick ideology, and those infected young people went to spread this infection, this terrible mind virus further on - into media, entertainment, etc.
But Woke campuses are NOT the only source of this totalitarian infection though. Corporate billionaire elite and our governments (including so-called 'deep state') colluded with it are NO LESS guilty there. They also have an agenda after all to suit their money and power interests, and they were using their enormous influence over our media, social media, governments, etc., to push this agenda down on us - and to make it AS MASSIVE and widespread as possible.
Hence, we're seeing an unprecedented and very dangerous process - when Woke political agenda is being pushed BOTH from bottom to top (from campuses elsewhere) and from top to bottom (from our corporate billionaire rulers and their puppet governments down on people). When the spread of Wokeism goes both ways, it becomes pretty hard to actually stop it or even check it.
I mean - HOW? To end Woke programmes at campuses? Well, it is too late even for that since Woke infection has already leaked out of campuses elsewhere. Secondly, it wouldn't stop state and corporate propaganda. And to fight BOTH campus indoctrination and MSM and state propaganda might be too hard even for strong and determined people. Hence, we're in a big trouble. I do not have a ready solution for it - NOT until MORE people woke up from Woke slumber, at least. Then, our power to overcome Woke hydra might be in our numbers.
Yes. Google Business asked if my business supports the LGBTQ+. I said no. The + sign means pedophilia. Sick fuckers!
I think the problem is that we give these woke people too much attention. As you say, they believe they are morally superior and are narcissists. So starve them of what they crave…attention. They call you out, ignore them. They cancel you, who cares. Stop engaging, stop catering, stop being afraid. Instead, use that energy to shut them up or shut them down. Spend your dollars at unwoke businesses. Quietly boycott the Bud Lites of the world. They’ll feel the loss of revenue from a quiet boycott as much as from a bullhorn boycott. Support political candidates and those in any fight against wokeism, those who hold your same values, with your time and with your dollars if needed. Vote your values. The only place I feel like we can’t be quiet is at the school board meetings. We need to defend our children from their filth. I’m from the “sticks and stones may break my bones but names will never hurt me” era. The younger generations need to learn this. Once when I was still very young, after my (much bigger) next door neighbor bully threatened to hit me with her bike, I punched her in the nose. I ran home petrified that I would be in big trouble because her nose was bleeding like crazy. My dad asked me who threw the first punch. I told him I did after she threatened to hit me with her bike. I couldn’t believe my ears when my dad answered, “Good. Never let anyone else throw the first punch because the first punch is always the best punch.” That advice has stood the test of time, whether the punch be physical or psychological. Never put up with a bully. And bullies are what these woke people are.
