Putin Pushes Homophobia, Domestic Violence, Heavy Drinking and HIV in Russia

The main reason why so many American conservatives love Putin is his prominent public anti-Woke stance. That is - ‘Look, Putin doesn’t trans kids! Putin resists Alphabet Mafia! Putin protects Russian culture from toxic Western influence! Putin is a hero!’

However, from my INSIDER’s Russian perspective most American conservatives do not possess I argue that EVEN HERE everything isn’t as great as you think it is, and that barbarian medieval society Putin aims to emulate isn’t really better than Woke one, if not worse. But to details.

Recriminalization of Homosexuality and Gay Men in Russia by Putin

First, yeah, I acknowledge that Putin doesn’t trans kids. So far so good. However, Putin does NOT distinguish between LGB and TQ+, between actual, real, innocent gay people and toxic Woke gender cultists, mentally ill trannies and pedo groomers. Putin bans and criminalizes them ALL including gay people. Sorry but as a gay man I have LOTS and LOTS against that shit.

I would have understood if Putin banned mentions of gay stuff too in schools for kids. however, he recently (since 2022 - surprise!) banned ANY MENTION of ANY GAY STUFF (even just love and kisses, no sex) also FOR ADULTS which has no any moral justification whatsoever and is pure homophobic censorship. Moreover, Putin had criminalized the whole LGBT+ movement again, WITHOUT distinguishing between gays and TQ+cultists and groomers. So, now you could be arrested in Russia for simply being gay - homophobic tyrant Putin had de-facto criminalized homosexuality with this shit. If you’re OK with this shit, please leave my stack, you homophobic asshole.

Domestic Violence Against Women and Kids up to Rape is Legal in Russia, and Courts ‘Shouldn’t Interfere’

But the harm Putin is doing isn’t limited to gays. Putin also harms women and kids by pushing patriarchal barbarian medieval societal norms which glorify domestic violence. That is, in Putin’s propagandists’ view, family is sacred and everything which happens within family is NOT up to state to interfere or judge. To translate it into Plain English, it means that inside family husbands might beat wives and parents - kids, and courts should NEVER interfere. Courts should NOT punish husbands for wife beating in Russia and parents - for child beating. Parents might even RAPE their kid in Russia and it’s still would be a ‘family affair’, NOT TO INTERFERE by the state! By NO MEANS should state be allowed to take kids from their parents even if those parents regularly beat, torture and rape their kids (and there were such precedents). So much for Russian ‘family values’! If you support this shit, you’re sicko.

Ironically, this Putin’s stance on family - that ‘no one should interfere into family affairs’ - Putin projects on national sovereignty - that is, no one should interfere into nation’s affairs even if leader of this nation like Putin abuses, tortures and murders his own citizens and even invades neighboring countries. Still, respect his sovereignty and ‘do not interfere’! So just let Putin do what he wants, let him murder and steal and rape as much as he wants, or you infringe upon ‘Russian sovereignty’! How crafty indeed.

Putin’s ‘traditional values’ harm not just gays, women and kids - they harm Russian men too. Russian culture encourages not just domestic violence against women and kids but a street violence against other men. It encourages male heavy drinking (but ONLY male - women are discouraged from drinking because they’re ‘mothers’) which in turn leads to more violence and decreases a male lifespan. In fact, the difference between male and female average lifespans in Russia is LARGEST IN THE WORLD - it’s almost ten years (it’s official stats!) No wonder when Putin encourages Russian men to drink and fight. And when they fail to kill themselves like that, Putin murders them in his foreign wars. Male genocide in Russia by Putin is complete.

But even THAT is not enough for Putin. Putin’s hypocrisy on sex disguised as a desire to ‘protect kids from sexualization’ results in the total ABSENCE of ANY sex ed in Russian schools. You think it’s a good thing? Well, as a result of it, OVER ONE MILLION of Russians are diagnosed with HIV, and it’s only officially known. Real number including people who were never tested and might be infected with HIV but not know it and hence spread it to others, is unknown (I suspect it’s much higher). So, it’s not really SAFE to have sex in Russia because with high probability your partner would be infected with HIV.
