Establishment Republicans Are As Useless as Democrats
They are Also Part of the Status Quo, not a Real Opposition
In the last post I made I shared an article which was analyzing why voting won’t change shit in the West any longer. But is it really so though? Are Republicans in US for example truly as bad as Democrats? Because Republicans at least SEEM to fight some real dangerous shit, like Wokeism, trans insanity, COVID Pharma fascism, Ukrainian warmongering, Jihadist propaganda, etc. So could Republicans be a real opposition to the system?
In order to find an answer to this question, I’d urge you to look at Republican ACTIONS, not RHETORIC. And in the action department, Republicans have not much to brag about. ONLY some of them, like Rand Paul or Ron DeSantis first of all, have acted upon their words at least with SOME REGARDS. Thus, DeSantis first rejected COVID draconian lockdowns and fascist vax mandates, and banned Woke CRT and trans grooming of kids. Rand Paul was pretty much the only senator consistently pushing for COVID inquiry (and I still remember his digs into Fauci - that was precious!). The rest of Republican party, or ESTABLISHMENT Republicans to be more precise, are largely inactive with pretty much ALL the important issues.
For example, today, 8th of November, marks a year since last midterms - e.g., a year of Republican control over the House of Representatives. And what of importance Republicans managed to achieve this far? Have they initiated a proper COVID inquiry? Nope. Have they managed to AT LEAST restrict Ukrainian money-laundering of taxpayers money? Have they managed to solve border crisis? Nope. Have they AT LEAST managed to impeach Poopy Biden for his obvious role in his son Hunter’s corruption? Nope.
You may say that Biden Woke House and Democrat controlled Senate cripples Republican capabilities. Fair enough but Republicans STILL CAN BLOCK at least SOME of Biden initiatives in the House of Representatives, and launch some of their OWN initiatives. Still, NOTHING of importance here.
My point is that AT LEAST establishment Republicans like former speaker Kevin McCarthy are also part of the status quo, and are corporate and billionaire puppets just like Democrats.
Republicans are better than Democrats ONLY because they have MORE visible outliers like abovementioned Rand Paul who AT LEAST have a potential to challenge establishment status quo. Would they have a real opportunity to change anything though? Until there are ONLY few of them, not really. If MORE Republicans would join their outlier team, maybe. But for now, we’re not seeing this happening.
