If we really want to defeat Wokeness for good and to reclaim our culture back, it's not enough to bring down the main Woke theoretical tools like Critical Race Theory. It's not enough (though necessary) to reclaim our media, academy and entertainment currently occupied by the Woke as well. But the main thing we need to do is to prevent our differences from dividing us. Because this is the main tool the Woke Leftvaffe use against us - they manipulate our differences to divide us and to turn us against each other to advance their own toxic radical political agenda which has nothing to do with the betterment of any of us.
I speak about our group differences first of all based on gender, race, sexual orientation, etc. The Woke invented the whole 'identity politics' with the sole purpose to turn groups of people against each other. Blacks against whites, gays against straights, trans against cis, women against men...It's so easy for the Woke Leftvaffe to come to an average Black person and to say to them: 'Look, you're screwed solely because of these bad white people, but we will help you to fight back against them'. So, Black people began to put the blame for all their misery on white people and became increasingly angry at them (and, hence, easily manipulated by the Woke because it's always easy to manipulate angry and scared people) on the one hand, and...loyal Left voters on the other. Because the Woke promised them salvation in order to secure their votes. Similarly the Woke act with any other minority groups. But it's not enough for the Leftvaffe to secure their votes - they need to use these minorities (now Black and trans people are used as their main tools, very unfortunately for them) to push their own dirty radical political agenda to 'rebuild the world' according to the interests of the Woke global elites (and certainly NOT to the interests of any of the abovementioned minority groups). Hence, of course, the pushback against this shit is necessary.
Again, I'm not saying that racism, sexism, homophobia and transphobia which the Woke use in their propaganda don't exist. They exist, and they are very bad and toxic prejudices. In the past, they were the true bane of our society which caused a lot of harm. Now, even if situation got somewhat better, all of those prejudices still exist. However, first, they are not as prominent now in the Western world as they used to be. There is no death penalty or imprisonment for homosexuality in the West anymore (unlike in the Islamic world about which the Woke are blissfully ignorant with this regard), same-sex marriage is legal, and gay people can be open about their sexuality in many places. There is no Black slavery or apartheid anymore, and Black people can become American presidents or rich actors or influential scientists. If you listen to the Woke, however, gay and Black people (especially Black) are still as 'fucked as ever', and perhaps even MORE than at times of apartheid and Black slavery, if you listen to the Woke. This is not true, and this is quite intentional exaggeration of the existing problem of racism in order to make Black people very angry and to turn them against white people. Similarly with any other minority group.
Second, those toxic prejudices even if they still exist, are not THE ONLY REASON to blame for all possible failures of Black or trans people, etc. So, if a particular Black person failed to succeed for some reason, it might not be due to 'racism and white supremacy' of our society. The reason might be (and in many case it is) different personal factors, just like for every human being, which has nothing to do with skin color whatsoever. Yet, the Woke always bring race into discourse with this regard, hence blaming 'racism and white supremacy' essentially for every possible failure of every Black person. Black person didn't get a job? Surely, the employer must be racist then (the fact that this particular Black person might not be suitable for this particular job isn't even taken into consideration by the Woke). Black person didn't get a boyfriend/girlfriend? Surely, this boy/girl should be racist, no any other reason possible, right. So, the Woke bring race and skin color into discourse all the time, hence teaching all Black people to blame racism for every single their failure, and, instead of assessing every situation individually, to generalize. That's very wrong.
It could be illustrated by another example. Let's say a white guy punches a Black guy. In most of the cases, our modern audience, thanks to the Woke, would think that this white guy is 'racist', most likely. But there might be countless other reasons. This white guy might be just an asshole who is mean to everyone irrespective to their skin colors, it just happened that this time a Black guy fell victim to his rage. Or, in the contrary, this Black guy might be an asshole (since yeah not all Black guys are angels either as the Woke would want you to believe), and, hence, got what was his due. Or it might be that those two guys just had some personal grievances not related to their skin color at all. However, the Woke would see racism and only racism in this case.
The Woke madness of Critical Race Theory goes as far as to suggest that there is a conspiracy in our society called 'racial contract' which exists solely for the purpose to keep Black people (and all people of color by extension) down, and white people - on the top of social hierarchy. All white people implicitly benefit from this' racial contract' hence it's in their 'best interest' to keep things as they are - e.g., to keep Black people down. Hence, all white people are essentially racist even if they don't realize it, UNLESS they actively fight to upend this 'unfair system' (e.g., all our culture and civilization which is designed solely to torture Black people and to keep them down, it seems). In other words, you, as a white person, need to be a Woke Marxist who works to undermine and eventually destroy your own culture and civilization, or you're 'racist' who 'benefits from the unfair system'. This is 'systemic racism' for you.
No need to tell you that there is no single proof whatsoever of any of the key points of abovementioned toxic theory. There are millions of homeless and poor white people in US, and there are quite a few of influential and rich Black people. So, if this 'racial contract' really existed, then it works pretty poorly, it seems. Yeah, on average there are more Black people living in poverty in US compared to white people. However, there might be another reasons for it, and other factors at play. Also, as far as data shows us, Asian Americans, Indian Americans and Jewish Americans are doing better on average in US than white Americans. I wonder why, if there was 'racial contract against all PoCs to keep white people on top'. White people aren't even on top, to begin with. I guess because of that the Woke are turning against Asian Americans and Jewish Americans of a recent - they ruined their 'perfect narrative' of imaginary 'systemic racism'. Also, to assume that all white people want to 'keep their white privilege' and to 'keep benefitting from unfair system' is basically judging people by their skin color which is essentially racist. So, the Woke deny any individual motivation for the white people, suggesting that all of them act solely based on their skin color instead. This is, again, essentially racist. So, the abovementioned Critical Race Theory isn't only entirely wrong, it's also essentially racist.
However, this being a lie doesn't prevent the Woke Leftvaffe from using this lie to turn people against each other, to sow toxic division and hatred in our society. In order to push back against it, we need to unite and to focus on the the things which unite and not divide us. We need to respect our differences but not allow them become barriers between us. And, most of all, we need to remember that we are all human, and that our similarities are more important than our differences.
Alex, great article! Keep it up!
The only thing I would object to is the word "cis." It was invented by trans activists in the 90's I believe. They want us to use it. That alone is enough for me. Thanks.
